FROM R-A-10,000 TO P-C (PLANNED COMMUNITY) OM APPROXIMATELY APPLICANT: LARWIM-SAN DIEGO, INC. (ZC-118) 5 6 THE CARLSBAD CITY PLANNING COMMISSION of the City of Carlsbad does g WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did, on the 11th day of September 8 hereby resolve as follows: hold a duly noticed public hearing to consider a request for a change 0' 9 10 from R-A-10,000 to P-C (Planned Community) , on approximately 5.0 acres ( 11 land, generally located on the north corner of Elm Avenue (extended), e< 32 of El Camino Real , and further described as a portion of Lot "J" in Ran( 13 14 Hedionda , and more particul arly described as: That portion of Lot "J" in Rancho Agua Hedionda, 15 in the County of San Diego, State of California, 16 according to the partition map thereof No. 823, 17 filed in the office of the County Recorder of s8 I l9 I said San Diego County on November 16, 1886. WHEREAS, the Planning Director has determined that the potential er 20 Environmental Impact Report that has been approved for the Larwin-Tanglc 21 vironmental impacts of this project have been adequately covered in the NHEREAS, at said Public Hearing, upon hearing and considering the 23 project, and this application should be classed as an on-going project, 22 general purpose of Title 21 : 27 the approval of a change of zone necessary to carry out the provisions a 26 said Commission did find the following facts and reasons to exist which 25 testimony and arguments , if any, of a1 1 persons who desired to be heard , 24 28 I 29 30 31 1. P-C Zoning would be consistent with the surrounding zoni (Larwi n-Tang1 ewood) . 2. P-C Zoning would facilitate the inclusion of this proper with the Tanglewood project through later submittals of a 1 revised Master Plan and Specific Plan.
