CASE: NO: ZCA-52 - " IJHEKEAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad, California, did hold Workshop Sessions on October 9, 1973, October 23, 197.3 and October 30, 1973, to consider the ?r-oposed "R" Zone Revisions, and; WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did hold a duly noticed Public Hearing on the 13th day of November, 1973, to consider an Amendment to Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code with regards to Residential Zonini: nistricts, and upon hearina testimony and arguments, if any, of al' persons wishing to speak, the Commission did find the following facts and reasons 'io exist which make the approval of this hendment appropriate: 1. . To eliminate ambi qui ty and re:e-l:'tfon, and, 2. To provide for modern planning techniques and provide fl exabi 1 i ty in the developmental standards, and; 3. To 'mplement the adopted General Plan. WHEREAS, it has been determined that this Amendment to Title 21 wi 11 not have a significant impact on the environment, and therefore, no furth environmental considerations wi 11 be necessary. NON; THEREFORE, BE:IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the Cit of Carlsbad that it does hereby recommend to the Cit-y Council that the Amendment to Title 21 as shown in Exhibit "A" attached, be enacted into /,. law, for the reasons stated above. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the City of Carlsba,d, California, at a regglar meeting held on the 13th day of November, 1973, by the following vote, to wit: ~ AYES: Commissioners Dominguez, Jose, Forman, Casler, Wrench, Palmatt Little I NOES : None.
