A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, RECOMfENDIMG TO THE CITY COUNCIL , ADOPTION OF GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT NO. 20, AN AMENDMENT ADDING AN OPEN SPACE AND CONSERVATION ELEMENT TO THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD.

consists of goals, policies, objectives, guide1 ines and
implementation plan that:
(1) ensure regulation of aesthetic benefits which accrue
from the preservation of open space in the environmel
and,
(2) ensure the benefits which accrue from the conservatil
development and uti1 ization of natural resources.
21 WHEREAS, said Amendment has met the requirements of the City of

3. The Open Space and Conservation elements provide the City of Carlsbad with a comprehensive document relating to Open Space and Conservation resource management.
AND FINALLY BE IT RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolution be forwar

5 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED, at a regular meeting of the Planning
