HomeMy WebLinkAbout1974-10-08; Planning Commission; Resolution 11040 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 ~ PLANNING COF'lMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 1104 RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, CONCERNING THE ZONE CHANGE FROM RD-M and P-C to FI-P ON PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF COSTA DEL MAR ROAD BETWEEN EL CAMIMO REAL AND ESTRELLA DEL MAR ROAD CONSISTING OF 4.040 COMPANY ACRES. CASE NO. ZC-146, APPLICANT: LA COSTA LAND ~~~ ~ WHEREAS, a verified application for a certain property, to wit: All of Lot 3 of La Costa Condominium No. 4, in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California, according to Map thereof No. 6520 on file in the office of the San Diego County Recorder has been filed with the City of Carlsbad and referred to the Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a request as provided Title 21 of the "Carlsbad Municipal Code"; and WHEREAS, the public hearing was held at the time and in the place specified in said notice on October 8, 1974; and WHEREAS, the applicant has complied with the Public Facility Policy the City of Carlsbad and has provided the necessary information which ins Public Facilities will be available and current with need; and NHEREAS, the subject application has complied with the requirements the City of Carlsbad "Environmental Protection Ordinance of 1972"; and WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and considering the testimony and arguments, if any, of all persons who desired to be heard, Commission considered all factors relating to the Zone Change and found t following facts and reasons to exist: 1. The proposed zoning is consistent with the Land Use designatior of the City's proposed Land Use Element of the General Plan. 2. The proposed zoning is better suited than existing zoning to ti location adjacent to a major arterial. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the Cil of Carlsbad, California that a Zone Change is approved for use of said ~ property from RD-M and P-C to R-P on property located on the south side ( Costa Del Mar Road between El Camino Real and Estrella Del Mar Road and I 0 0 1 consisting of 4.040 acres. 2 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City of 3 to wit: 4 Carlsbad Planning Commission held on October 8, 1974 by the following vo: 5 ABSENT: Commissioner Jose 7 AYES : Commissioners Watson, Dominguez, Wrench, Fi kes, Casler 6 NOES : None 8 ABSTAIN: None 9 10 11 12 13 14 ATTEST: 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 - 2- 6, L-1 ,& .:!A$, -k Mary Casldr, Chairman
