PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 1175
RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, CONCERNING APPROVAL OF A PREANNEXATIONAL ZONE CHANGE FROM C-7 AND RD-M TO C-1-Q AND RD-M-Q ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE NORTH-
CASE NO. - ZC-158 EAST CORNER 0F.ALGA ROAD AND EL CAMINO REAL.
WHEREAS, a verified application for a certain property, to wit:
West one-half on the Northeast on-fourth of section T. 72 S. R. 4 W. Located at the northeasterly intersection of El Camino Real and Alga Road and further described in the files of the Planning Department;
has been filed with the City of Carlsbad and referred to the Planning Commis
and
WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a request as provided by
Title 21 of the "Carlsbad Municipal Code"; and
WHEREAS, the public hearing was held at the time and in the place speci
in said notice on July 23, 1975; and
WHEREAS, the applicant has complied with the Public Facility Policy of
City of Carlsbad and has provided the necessary information which insures
Public Facilities will be available and current with need; and
WHEREAS, the subject application has complied with the requirements of
City of Carlsbad "Environmental Protection Ordinance of 1972". An .Environme
Impact Report was certified for the subject ptoperty on June 2, 1975.':fIt wa
determined that the project meets all of CEQA's and the City's Environmental
requirements (Title 19, Section 19.04.153, Prior Compliance); and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and considering the testi
and arguments, if any, of all persons who desired to be heard, said Comrnissi
considered all factors relating to the Zone Change and found the following
facts and reasons to exist:
1) The Zone Change is necessary to ensure consistency with Land Use, Noise and Circulation Elements of the General Plan.
2) Public utilities have been ensured with initial prezoning.
NON, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the City o
Carlsbad as follows:

1 A) That the above recitations are true and correct.

B) That a Preannexational Zone Change is approved from C-1 and RD-M t C-1-Q and RD-M-Q on property located at the northeast corner of Alga Road and El Camino Real .
4 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regulare meeting of the City of Carls
