PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 1178
RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, SETTING FQRTH ITS FINDINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS RELATIVE TO AN AMENDMENT TO TITLE 21 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, PIPELINE AS PERMITTED IN P-U ZONE AND DELETION OF LOT AREA REQUIREMENT IN L-C ZONE. CASE NO. ZCA-69
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad dl
adopt Resolution of Intention No. 116 declaring its intention t’
recommend to the City Council an Amendment to Title 21 of the
Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did hold a duly noticed
Public Hearing to consider the subject amendment; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission received all testimony fr
those persons interested in and opposed to, if any, the propose
Zone Code Amendment; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did find the following fa
and reasons to be present which in their opinion are necessary
carry out the general purpose of Title 21 of the Carlsbad Munic
Code:
1. The amendment will provide for energy transmission facilities in the P-U Zone.
2. The amendment will delete minimum lot size in the L-C Zone to provide greater flexibility.
3. The amendment will update wordage of both Zones.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission
the City of Carlsbad that it does recommend approval to the Ci.
Council of an amendment to Title 21 permitting pipeline in P-U
Zone and deletion of lot area requirement in L-C Zone, as per
Exhibit A, dated August 19, 1975, and attached hereto.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Carlsbad City Planning Commission held on August 27, 1975 by t
following vote, to wit:
