RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, CONCERNING THE GENERAL PLAN CON- FORE?IITY OF A PROJECT TO IMPROVE THE AUTO CENTER PARK

WHEREAS, Section 65402 of the California Government Code 1
quires that prior to constructing any public structure or build:
the Planning Commission must report on the conformity of said c(
struction with the City's adopted General Plan; and

WHEREAS, the City Engineer has submitted plans to the Plal
ning Commission for the improvement of the Auto Center Park loci
on Plaza Del Norte for a report on General Plan conformity; and
WHEREAS, the project has complied with the requirements oj
the Carlsbad Environmental Protection Ordinance of 1972; and
WHEREAS, the adopted General Plan states that residents
should be provided with essential public facilities; and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Element and Land Use Elc // of the General Plan designate this site as a neighborhood Park; 17

20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission
