PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 1281
RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, CONCERNING THE GENERAL
PLAN CONFORMITY OF A PROJECT TO INSTALL AN 8" SEWER LINE IN OCEAN STREET TO-REPLACE AN EXISTING
LINE ... .... .
WHEREAS, Section 65402 of the California Government Cod(
requires that prior to constructing any public structure or
building, the Planning Commission must report on the conformit;
of said construction with the City's adopted General Plan: and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has reported '.to the Planning
Commission on the construction of an 8" sewer line in Ocean
Street, from Pine Street to Carlsbad Boulevard, €or a report or
General Plan Conformity; and
WHEREAS, the project has complied with the requirements
of the Carlsbad Environmental Protection Ordinance of 1972; ani
WHEREAS, the adopted General Plan states that residents
should be provided with essential public facilities: and
WHEREAS, the proposed sewer line will improve flow of
!sewerage from this area to the main trunk sewer;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commissic
of the City of Carlsbad as follows:
A) That the above recitations are true and correct
B) That the proposed sewer line construction is
consistent with the Carlsbad General Plan.
