CASE NO. : ZCA-82 APPLICANT: CITY OF CARLSBAD 1 It 6(( WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad 711did adopt Resolution of Intention No. 141 declaring its intent 8 9 to conduct a public hearing to consider a Zone Code Amendment amending Title 21 of the Municipal Code to delete the requirerr. lo of a Conditional Use Permit for Printers. 11 12 13 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did hold a duly noticed Public Hearing on March 9, 1977, to consider the subject amendment; and 14 15 16 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission received all testimony from those persons interested in and opposed to, if any, the proposed Zone Code Amendment; and 171( WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did find the following 18 19 20 21 facts and reasons to be present which in their opinion are necessary to carry out the general purpose of Title 21 of the Municipal Code: 1) The zone code does not clearly differentiate between vari 22 printing and reproduction activities. 23 24 2) Changes in technology have made certain printing activit- 25 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Planning Commiss' 26 of the City of Carlsbad that it does recommend approval to tl 27 City Counci 1 of an amendment to Title 21 of the Municipal Co as set forth in Exhibit "A" dated February 4, 1977 attached less objectionable than they were previously. 28 xxxxxxxx F" '0 ? 1 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the 2 following vote, to wit: 3 Carlsbad City Planning Commission held on March 9, 1977, by tl 4 5 6 7 a 9 10 11 AYES: Commissioners Larson, Rombotis, Nelson, Fiker Jose, Watson and L'Heureux NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None ti 2- IC LARSON, CHAIRMAN 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 ATTEST: & vi!&ud.L RALPH S.
