RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, SETTING
FORTH ITS FINDINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
'RELATIVE TO REZONING PROPERTY FROM L-C
TO P-M ON PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE SOUTH
SIDE OF PALOMAR AIRPORT ROAD, BOTH SIDES
OF YARROW DRIVE.
CASE NO. : zc-190 APPLICANT: CABOT, CABOT & FORBES (PALOMAR PROPERTIES, INC. )

WHEREAS, a verified application for a certain property
as shown on the attached map, has been filed with the City of

Carlsbad and referred to the Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a =que
as provided by Title 21 of the "Carlsbad Municipal Code"; and

WHEREAS, the public hearing to consider the subject re
was held at the time and in the place specified in said notic
on March 23, 1977; and
WHEREAS, the subject application has complied with the
171/ requirements of the City of Carlsbad "Environmental Protectic

22/1 relating to the Zone Change and found the following facts an

24 1) General Plan: The proposed zone change is consistent wi
25 General Plan because:
26 a) The Land Use Element designates this area as "PI" (I:
Industrial) ,

b) The Zone Change will have no adverse effect On any C
of the General Plan.

a) A Negative Declaration has been issued for the followi 3
Environmental Protection Ordinance of 1972 because:
reasons :
(1) The proposal is consistent with the General Plan,
(2) The project area is small in scale.

6 3) Public Facilities: The proposed zone change is consistenl
7 applicable City Public Facility Policies and Ordinances ba

a) The project area is a portion of an approved subdivis
and all public facilities are presently available.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commiss

A) That the above recitations are true and correct.
B) That the Zone Change from L-C to P-M is recommended for
