CASE NO. : GPA- 4 7 APPLICANT : WES MUDGE, FINANCIAL SCENE, INC. WHEREAS, a verified application for a certain propert: been filed with the City of Carlsbad and referred to the Pla Commission; and WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a requt provided by Title 21 of the "Carlsbad Municipal Code"; and WHEREAS, the public hearing was held at the time and : place specified in the public notice of April 13, 1977; and WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and con; ing the testimony and arguments, if any, of all persons who ' sired to be heard, said Commission considered all factors re to the General Plan Amendment and found the following facts reasons to exist: 1) The amendment proposes a "spot1' designation which is con to the purpose and intent of the Land Use Element. 2) The existing Neighborhood Commercial (N) designation pro- a reasonable transition from Planned Industrial (PI) pro] to the north and northwest and still is compatible with, provides necessary services for the residential areas to south and east. 3) There is a great deal of property in the city near the a ideal for industrial development. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commis of the City of Carlsbad as follows: A) That the above recitations are true and correct. The streets proposed to be resurfaced or chip seal coated this year are shown on attached Exhibit "A". Also attached for the Commission's consideration is a suggested resolution that the project is consistent with the General Plan.
