PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 1400
RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING
APPROVAL OF A ZONE CHANGE FROM C-2 TO C-2-Q
ON PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED ON THE SOUTH-
EAST INTERSECTION OF EL CAMINO REAL AND LA
COSTA AVENUE.
CASE NO: ZC-196
APPLICANT : CITY OF CARLSBAD
WHEREAS, a verified application for certain property as
shown on the attached map, Exhibit "A", has been filed with
City of Carlsbad and referred to the Planning Commission; an'
WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a reques
as provided by Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did on the 24th day of
August, 1977, hold a duly noticed public hearing as prescrib
by law to consider said request; and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and consi
the testimony and arguments, if any, of all persons who desi
to be heard, said Commission considered all factors relating
the Zone Change and found the following facts and reasons to
1) The Q-Zone would allow conditions to be placed on future
development to mitigate the identified environmental imp
2) The Q-Zone would allow future review of the City prior t
development to insure compatibility with surrounding dev
elopment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT resolved by the Planning Commissi
of the City of Carlsbad as follows:
A) That the above recitations are true and correct.
B) That in view of the findings heretofore and considering
the applicable law, the decision of the Planning Commiss
is to approve ZC-196 located on the south east intersect
of El Camino Real and La Costa Avenue.
