PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 1410
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 21, CHAPTER 21.45, OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE TO REVISE THE DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS FOR PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENTS IN REGARDS TO STORAGE SPACE AND OPEN SPACE.

6 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad

amending Title 21 of the Municipal Code amending Planned Unit 9
conduct a public hearing to consider a Zone Code Amendment 8
adopt Resolution of Intention No. 148 declaring its intention d 8 lo Development requirements in Chapter 21.45; and

Subsection (6) to read as follows:
"(6) Storage space: Storage space to accommodate storage of campers, trailers, boats, etc. shall be provided for planned L developments containing five or more residential dwelling unit The storage space shall be located in specifically designated areas and made available for the exclusive use of the resident of the PUD. These designated areas may serve more than one Pl provided there is sufficient space to meet minimum requirement each PUD sharing the space.

Subsection (9) to add the following:
(E). If the City Council so determines any part or all o the usable open space requirements for a PUD located in the Planned Community Zone with an approved master plan may, in ac with the provisions of this section, be satisfied by reference to open space lands located outside the PUD boundary. Any suc open space lands must be located within the master plan bounda and must be in excess of the requirements of the Planned Comrnu Zone, and Chapter 20.44. In order to approve the use of any s excess open space land to satisfy the PUD requirements for usa open space, the City Council must find that:
1. The portion of the open space lands to be attributed the PUD complies with the requirements for usable open space contained in Subsections (A), (B), (C) and (D), and with the requirements of this section; and
2. That such open space reasonably relates to the PUD an lo
