PLANNING COMMISSION 'RESOLUTION NO. 1424
RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA APPROVING AN AMEND-
MENT FOR A SITE DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR A 9,283
SQUARE FOOT RESTAURANT ON THE EAST SIDE OF EL
CAMINO REAL, SOUTH OF MARRON AVENUE.
CASE NO: SDP 77-2 (A)
APPLICANT: RON ROBERTS
WHEREAS, a request to modify a Site Development Plan fox
certain property, to wit:
Parcel 4 of Parcel Map No. 4838 - a portion of Lots 4
and 5 of Fractional Section 32, Township 11 South, Range
4 west, San Bernardino Meridian, in the City of Carlsbac
Recorded June 18, 1976. Assessor's number: Book 167, Page 030, Parcel 45
has been filed with the City of Carlsbad and referred to the
Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a request
provided by Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, this matter was considered by the Planning Com-
mission on November 16, 1977, and
WHEREAS, at said meeting the Planning Commission found 1
following facts and reasons to exist:
1. The proposed change will not significantly alter thc originally approved Site Development Plan.
2. The proposed change will not significantly alter thc
parking or traffic flow of the originally approved
Site Development Plan.
3. All Environmental and Public Facilities concerns
have previously been considered with the original
approved Site Development Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT resolved by the Planning Commissii
of the City of Carlsbad as follows:
A) That the above recitations are true and correct.
I U) That in view of the findings heretofore made and conside. the applicable law, the decision of the Planning Commiss.

is to approve an amendment to Site Development Plan
(SDP 77-2), as originally approved by Planning Commissio
Resolution No. 1359 and City Council Resolution No. 5149
on appeal, subject to the following conditions:
1) The size of the building from 10,512 square feet to
9,283 square feet; and a design changed to a more
elongated building, and the parking designed as
illustrated on attached map, Exhibit "A", dated November 16, 1977.
2) The applicant shall submit a revised mylar Site Dev-
elopment Plan for the entire site that indicates SDP 77-2 as originally approved and with this mod-
ification as contained in attached Exhibit "A", datc November 16, 1977.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of thc
City of Carlsbad Planning Commission held on November 16, 19;
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Commissioner Larson, Woodward, Fikes, Jose,
Watson.
ABSTAIN: Commissioner Rombotis.
ABSENT : Commissioner L'Heureux.
