PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 1456
RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF
AN AMENDMENT TO THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL
PLAN CHANGING VARIOUS LAND USE DESIGNATIONS IN THE
NORTHEAST AREA OF THE CITY.

8 I! WHEREAS, a verified application for certain property,

Carlsbad and referred to the Planning Commission; and,
WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a reques
provided in Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code; and,
WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Repozt has been prepar
and considered at a duly noticed public hearing before the Pla
Commission, and that the final report has been certified as ir
compliance with regulations of the City of Carlsbad Environmer
Protection Ordinance of 1972 and the California Environmental
Quality Act; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did on the 12th day of
July, 1978, hold a duly noticed public hearing as prescribed 1:
law to consider said request; and,
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and consi
testimony and arguments, if any, of all persons who desired tc
heard, said Commission considered all factors relating to the
General Plan Amendment and found the following facts and reasc

A. That the above recitations are true and correct.
B. That in view of the findings heretofore made and
considering the applicable law, the decision of the Planning
Commission is to recommend approval of GPA-51(A) as represent
on the attached Exhibit A, dated June 30, 1978.
