WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did on October 15, 1971 adopt Resolution No. 1196 modifying the parking requirements warehouse uses in Palomar Industrial Park as follows: "Parking for all warehousing and storage uses within the building shall be provided at a ratio of one stall for e. 800 sq. feet of gross floor area. Parking for office space within the warehouse building shall be provided at the ratio one stall for every 400 sq. feet gross floor area, as requirl for uses in the P-M zone (Section 21.44.120) 'I WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of said Resolution 1 1196, the City of Carlsbad has processed building permit requests for warehouses in Palomar Industrial Park with accompanying reduced parking; and WHEREAS, occasionally these said "warehouses" are const with no assurance that they will, in fact, be used as wareho. thereby creating parking and sewer problems; WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did on the 23rd day of August, 1978, hold a duly noticed public hearing as prescrib law to consider said Resolution No. 1196; and WHEREAS, at said public hearing of August 23rd, 1978, a upon hearing and considering testimony and arguments, if any all persons who desired to be heard, said Commission conside all factors relating to said Resolution No. 1196; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission by the following roll vote recommended that Resolution No: 1196, dated October 'i5, I -1- - I1 w - 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 be RECINDED, and thereby rendered null and void of effect. AYES : Rombotis, Schick, Marcus, Jose, Larson NOES : None ABSTAIN: None ABSENT: L'Heurenx, Wrench NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the above recitatior are true and correct. Introduced, approved and adopted this 23rd day of August, 1978.
