CASE : zc-199 APPLICANT : Jerry Bryan WHEREAS, a verified application for certain property, generally located on the east side of Pi0 Pic0 Drive between Laguna Drive and Stratford Lane, and more particularly descril as : All that portion of the East Half of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 6, Township 12 South, Range 4 West, in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California, according to the Official Plat thereof. has been filed with the City of Carlsbad and referred to the Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a request provided by Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did on the 13th day of September, 1978, hold a public hearing as prescribed by law tc consider said request; and WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and conside the testimony and arguments, if any, of all persons who desire to be heard, said Commission considered all factors relating t Zone Change (ZC-199), and found the following facts and reason to exist: 1. The site is designated for "Professional and Relate uses on the general plan land use map. b. The "Residential/Professional" zone implements the "Professional and Related" general plan designation. c. The zone change will have no adverse impact on any element of the general plan. I ~ ** It has been determined that the zone change will not hav ~ significant impact on the environment because: a. The proposed zone change is compatible with the Car general plan. b. The "Q" overlay process will insure compatibility o future development with the existing neighborhood. 3. The proposed zone change is consistent with applicable C Public Facilities Policies and Ordinances because: a. Most public facilities exist on the site. Any additional public facilities needed will be require part of the "Q" overlay development process. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission by the following roll c vote recommended APPROVAL of ZC-199 as indicated on Exhibit A dated September 13, 1978, attached hereto: AYES: Rombotis, Schick, Larson, Marcus, Jose, Wrench NOES : None ABSENT: L'Heureux ABSTAIN: None NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the above recitation are true and correct.
