HomeMy WebLinkAbout1979-02-28; Planning Commission; Resolution 1493w w 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 I PLANNING CO?!IMIS'SION RE,SOLUTION NO. 149 3 RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A ZONE CHANGE FROM R-1 TO R-P-Q (RESIDENTIAL PROFESSIONAL QUALIFIED) CASE NO . : zc 201 APPLICANT: JAMES HUNT ~ ~~ - ~ ~~~ WHEREAS, a verified application for certain property, generally located on the east side of Pi0 Pic0 Drive between Knowles and Stratford Lane, and more particularly described a Parcel No. 1, a portion of Parcel No. 2 of Parcel Map No. 471, of the Northwest one-quarter of Section 6, Township 12 South, Range 4 West, SBBM in the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California, has been filed with the City of Carlsbad and referred to the Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a request provided by Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did on the 14th day of February, 1979, hold a public hearing as prescribed by law tc consider said request; and WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and considc the testimony and arguments, if any, of all persons who desi] to be heard, said Commission considered all factors relating the Zone Change (ZC 201) and found the following facts and rc to exist: 1. The proposed zone change is consistent with-the general p because : A. The site is designated for "Professional and Related uses on the general plan land use map. B. The "Residential/Professional" zone implements the u permitted in the "Professional and Related" general plan designation. > - - 1 C. The zone change will have no adverse impact on any element of the general plan. 2 3 significant adverse impact on the environment because: 2. It has been determined that the zone change will not have 4 5 6 A. The proposed zone change is compatible with the CarM General Plan. B. The llQ1l overlay process will insure compatibility Of future development with the existing neighborhood. 7 3. Any additional public facilities needed will be required as part of the "Q" overlay development process . WHEREAS, the Planning Commission by the following roll ca vote recommended APPROVAL of ZC 201 as indicated on Exhibit X dated February 14, 1979, attached hereto: AYES: Rombotis, Marcus, Jose, Schick, Wrench, Larson NOES : None ABSENT: L I Heureux NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the above recitation are true and correct.
