PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 1497
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING
THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD
CERTIFY THAT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT NUMBER
528, FOR A SATELLITE SEWER TREATMENT FACILITY,
ON PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED NORTH OF EL CAMINO
REAL AND KELLY DRIVE, MEETS THE INTENTS AND
PURPOSES OF THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY
ACT AND THE STATE EIR GUIDELINES.
CASE NO. : EIR-528
APPLICANT: Roy Ward
Lake Calavera Hills // WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Code
the City of Carlsbad, the Planning Commission did, on the 14tl
of March, 1979, hold a duly noticed public hearing to considel
Environmental Impact Report 528; and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and considc
testimony and arguments, if any, of all persons desiring to bc
heard, said Planning Commission considered all factors relatir
the Environmental Impact Report and found the following facts
reasons to exist.
The project is in full compliance with the California
Environmental Quality Act, the State EIR Guidelines and the
Carlsbad Environmental Protection Ordinance of 1972 for the
following reasons:
1. The Environmental Impact Report has adequately addressed
potential impacts to the environment.
2. Precise location and intensity of the project will be SUI
to further review and controls through the requirements of thc
Zoning Ordinance.
