RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF
CAFUSBAD TENTATIVE MAP 79-1- FOR THE SUBDIVISION OF
A 32 ACRE PARCEL IN PALOMAR AIRPORT BUSINESS PARK.

WHEREAS, a verified application has been filed with the Ci
of Carlsbad and referred to the Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a request a
provided by Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Code
the Planning Commission on the 11th day of April, 1979, consid
said application on property described as:
That portion of Lot "G" of Rancho Agua Hedionda
in the County of San Diego, State of California,
according to map thereof No. 923 filed in the office
of the County Recorder November 16, 1896.
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad, acting as Lead Agency, has
processed said property through environmental guidelines pursc
to Title 19 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code and the State EIR
~ guidelines. A Declaration of Negative Environmental Effect WE
~ issued on December 18, 1978, based on the following findings:
~ 1. A large portion of the subject property has been previous1

~ graded. The remainder is covered with grasses, brush and
other non-significant vegetation.
2. While a considerable amount of grading is to be done over
entire site, slopes will be limited to a 2:l maximum, and
comply to other requirements of the City Engineering Depai

The applicant shall improve Street "A" as labeled on Exhib
"A", to City of Carlsbad standards and to the satisfaction
of the City Engineer. The design of said street shall dev from said standards only to the extent of right-of-way wid.

Prior to recordation of the final map, the subdivider must
obtain the approval of the City Engineer for all improveme] plans, enter into the appropriate improvement agreements w. the City, and post the required bonds for such improvement! Upon the completion of the improvements, the subdivider shi submit the original drawings revised to reflect as-built conditions.
Grading shall occur in accordance with an approved grading erosion control plan, City standards, and an approved soil! and geologic investigation report which shall include slopc stability calculations and construction specifications. The City shall grant a total of one ingress and egress op
along the El Camino Real frontage for the purpose of prov
access to Parcel 3. The exact location and width of this
opening shall be shown on the final map and shall be to t
