RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AN AMENDMENT
TO CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 118 TO ALLOW THE CARLSBAD
HISTORICAL SOCIETY TO MOVE THE ORIGINAL CITY HALL
LIBRARY TO MAGEE PARK, LOCATED NORTH OF BEECH AVE-
NUE BETWEEN CARLSBAD BOULEVARD AND GARFIELD STREET,

WHEREAS, a verified application for certain property, to
Portion of Block 3 of Carlsbad, County of San Diego,
State of California, according to Map thereof No, 775, filed in the Office of County Recorder of San Diego
County, February 15, 1894,
has been filed with the City of Carlsbad and referred to the
Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a request
provided by Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code; and

1979, hold a duly noticed public hearing as prescribed by law

WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad has issued a Declaration o
Non-Significant Impact in accordance with the Carlsbad Enviro
mental Protection Ordinance for the following reasons:
1. The proposed project will not involve any significant la

1. The relocation of the old City Hall/Library to Magee Pal
