PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 1575
RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF PROPOS:
ELEVATION MODIFICATIONS TO A PREVIOUSLY APPROVED 130
UNIT PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPEMNT LOCATED WITHIN HOSP
GROVE.
CASE NO. : PUD-8 APPLICANT: Broadmoor Eomes
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad received a communicatio
from Broadmoor Homes, dated November 15, 1979, referencing
previously approved Planned Unit Development (PUD-8, Buena
Woods) , and requesting elevation modifications; and
WHEREAS, this project has been processed through
Environmental Protection Ordinance, and has been found in
conformance due to prior complaince of PUD-8 and the propo
modifications will not substantially impact on the environ
and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did, on November 28,
consider said request, and upon hearing and considering a1
factors relating to the proposed elevation modifications,
the following facts and reasons to exist:
1. The proposed changes involve minor facade modificatio
leaving the building footprints relatively unchanged.
2. The building elevations originally approved under PUD
(2/2/77) show two-level, attached structures with red. tile roofs and white stucco siding. This design woul been fairly similar to the design of the existing uni in Hosp Grove.
3. The revised elevations, dated 11/16/79, submitted by Broadmoor Homes maintain essentially the same buildin
bulk and height as originally approved. The changes consist of modification to the roofing and siding mat
