A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, FINDING GENERAL PLAN CONSISTENCY FOR ACQUISITION OF REAL PROPERTY FOR STREET PURPOSES
WHEREAS, California Government Code Section 65402(a)
provides that no real property shall be acquired for street
poses until the location, purpose and extent of such acquisi
has been submitted to and acted upon by the planning agency
conformity with the general plan; and
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad has officially adopted
General Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad ha
approved Master Plan MP-lSO(A) and Carlsbad Tract 76-12 whic
require the extension of Tamarack Avenue from El Camino Real
the Lake Calavera Hills Development; and
WHEREAS, the circulation element of the Carlsbad Gen
Plan includes the portion of Tamarack Avenue required to be
extended by Master Plan MP-l50(A) and Carlsbad Tract 76-12.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commi
of the City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. The acquisition of approximately 17.83 of real
property between El Camino Real and the Lake Calavera Hills
development for the extension of Tamarack Avenue is consistel
with the Carlsbad General Plan.
2. Said finding of conformity of the coordinated prc
of proposed public works shall be reported to the City Counc:

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Carlsbad Planning Commission held the 27th day of February,
1980, by the following vote, to-wit:
