A RESOLUTION OF TEE PLANNING COT@!IISSION OF
APPROVAL OF A ZONE CODE AMENDMENT, AMENDING
TITLE 21, CHAPTER 21.49, SECTION 21.49.020
OF THE CARLSBAD IKJNICIFAL CODE, BY THE ADDITION
OF SUBSECTIONS (13) AND (14) TO ALLOW TEE
PROCESSING OF GENERAL PLAN WENDXENTS AND
MINOR ANNEXATIONS NECESSARY FOR REVISIONS TO
APPROVED Pr3STER PLANS.
APPLICANT: CITY OF CARLSBAD

THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, RECOPVlENDING
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did, on the 23rd day of
10 ij P,pril, 1980, hold a duly noticed public hearing as Prescribed

by law to consider said request; and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and conside
all testimony and arguments, if any, of all persons desiring
to be heard, said Commission considered all factors relating t
the Zone Code Amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Planning
Commission as follows:
A) That the above recitations are true and correct.
19 1 E) That based on the evidence presented at the public heari: the Commission recommends APPROVAL of ZCA-124, according Exhibit A dated 2/28/80, attached hereto and made a part

1. Allowing general plan amendments and annexation of

property to accommodate revisions to approved master and
specific plans will place insignificant demand on future
sewer service.
25 I 2. There is viable evidence that sewer service will be
available in the near future and therefore some processi
26 /I can proceed. ll 3. Allowing the city to do, advanced planning and annexatio 27 will allow the city to provide better guidance for futur
28 land use decisions.
