A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, RECOWTENDING APPROVAL OF A ZONE CHANGE FROM L-C (LIMITED CONTROL) TO CT-Q (COMMERCIAL TOURIST WITH A
Q OVERLAY) ON PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED ON
THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF PALOMAR AIRPORT ROAD AND PASEO DEL NORTE.

has been filed with the City of Carlsbad, and referred to the
Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, said application constitutes a request as provic
by Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did on the 9th day of JI
1980, and the 13th day of August, 1980, hold a duly noticed pi
hearing as prescribed by law to consider said request; and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and considl

all testimony and arguments, if any, of all persons desiring
be heard, said Commission considered all factors relating to
Zone Change; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Planning
Commission as follows:
A) That the foregoing recitations are true and correct.
B) That based on the evidence presented at the public heari
the Commission recommends APPROVAL of ZC-213, based on t

Findings:
1) The proposed change of zone to CT-Q is consistent with t
General Plan designation of TS for the reasons stated in

II I. 2) The site is physically suitable for the type of uses
allowed in the CT-Q zone for the reasons stated in the 2 staff report.

3) The applicant has agreed and is required by the inclusion
an appropriate condition to pay a public facilities fee.

Performance of that contract and payment of the fee will
enable this body to find that public facilities will be
available concurrent with need as required by the General
