A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, DENYING A
VARIANCE TO ELIMINATE THE REQUIRED 10' SETBACK
IN THE REAR YARD TO ALLOW CONSTRUCTION OF A STORAGE BUILDING AT THE REAR PROPERTY LINE ON PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF
ELM AVENUE BETWEEN WASHINGTON STREET AND

A portion of Tract 98 of Carlsbad lands, in the City
of Carlsbad, in accordance with Map No. 1661, filed
in the Office of the County Recorder, March 1, 1915

has been filed with the City of Carlsbad, and referred to the
Planning Commission; and
14 I1 WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a request

provided by Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did, on the 27th day of
August, 1980, 10th day of September, 1980, and the 24th day of
September, 1980, hold a duly noticed public hearing as prescri

all testimony and arguments, if any, of all persons desiring t
be heard, said Commission considered all factors relating to

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Planning

27 the Commission recommends DENIAL of V-309, based on the following findings:

A) That the foregoing recitations are true and correct.
