PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 1741
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A CONDI-
TIONAL USE PERMIT TO ALLOW THE CREATION OF A
RELIGIOUSLY RELATED RETIREMENT VILLAGE ON PRO-
PERTY GENERALLY LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF LAUREL TREE ROAD, SOUTH OF PALOMAR AIRPORT
ROAD.
APPLICANT: SUDAN INTERIOR MISSION
CASE NO: CUP-190
WHEREAS, a verified application has been filed with the
City of Carlsbad and referred to the Planning Commission; anc
WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a request
as provided by Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Coc
the Planning Commission did, on the 17th day of December,
1980, hold a duly noticed public hearing to consider said
application on property described as:

WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and
considering all testimony and arguments, if any, of all persc
desiring to be heard, said Commission considered all factors
relating to CUP-190.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Planning
Commission of the City of Carlsbad as follows:
A) That the foregoing recitations are true and correct.
B) That based on the evidence presented at the public heari the Commission recommends APPROVAL of CUP-190, based on the following findings and subject to the following conditions:

1) The proposed use is desirable for the development of the

6) This Conditional Use Permit is non-transferable and the use of the property shall be maintained as a religious
affiliation. Any change of use on this property shall require an amendment to this Conditional Use Permit.
