PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTI'ON NO. 1723
I A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING
APPROVAL OF A ZONE CODE AMENDMENT, AMENDING TITLE 21, CHAPTER 21.22 (RESIDENTIAL WATERWAY
ZONE) BY DELETING SECTION 21.22.110, AND CHAPTER
21.47.130 (2) REVISING THE PARKING REQUIREMENTS
RELATING TO THE R-W ZONE.
APPLICANT: CITY OF CARLSBAD CASE NO: ZCA-129
21.47 (CONDOMINIUMS) BY AMENDING SUBSECTION
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did, on the 28th day 0:
January, 1981, hold a duly noticed public hearing as prescril
by law to consider said request: and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and consic
all testimony and arguments, if any, of all persons desiring
be heard, said Commission considered all factors relating to
Zone Code Amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Planning
Commission as follows:
A) That the above recitations are true and correct.
B) That based on the evidence presented at the public hear: the Commission recommends APPROVAL of ZCA-129, accordin!
Exhibit "A", dated February 11, 1981, attached hereto ai made a part hereof, based on the following findings:

1) That parking problems are increasing in the Bristol Cow area and that amending the ordinance to increase parkin!
requirements in the R-W zone will alleviate existing pa:
problems and prevent potential future problems.
2) This project will not cause any significant environment;
impacts, and a Declaration of Negative Environmental Im]
has been issued by the Planning Director on October 24,
and approved by the Planning Commission on January 28, :

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 21,
CHAPTER 21.22 (RESIDENTIAL WATERWAY ZONE) OF
THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE BY DELETING SECTION
21.22.110, AND CHAPTER 21.47 (CONDOMINIUMS) OF
THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE BY AMENDING SUB-
SECTION 21.47.130(2), TO REVISE THE PARKING REQUIREMENTS OF THE R-W ZONE

The City Council of the city of Carlsbad, California, doe
a SECTION 1: That Title 21, Chapter 21.22, of the Carlsbac
9 Municipal Code is amended by the deletion of Section 21.22.11(
10 SECTION 2: That Title 21, Chapter 21.47, Section 21.47.1

Subsections (2) to read as follows: 12
of the Carlsbad Municipal Code is amended by the amendment of
