APPLICANT : DIXON FORD CASE NO: PCD"2'9. . . . . . .. . WHEREAS, a verified application for certain property to wit: A portion of Lot H, of Rancho Agua Hedionda, according to Map 823, filed in the Office of the County Recorder. has been filed with the city of Carlsbad and referred to the Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a request as provided by Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did, on the 25th day of February, 1981, consider said request; and WHEREAS, at said hearing, upon hearing and considering a testimony and arguments, if any, of all persons desiring to b heard, said Commission considered all factors relating to the Planning Commission Determination; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Planning Commission as follows: A) That the foregoing recitations are true and correct. B) That based on the evidence presented at the hearing, the Commission APPROVES PCD-29, based on the following findings and subject to the following conditions: Findings 1) The project is consistent with the General Plan since th proposed use, an automobile showroom, is consistent with the RRE, (Extensive Regional Retail), designation establ for this property in the Land Use Element'of the General APN #211-060-07 II # .* e e 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 2) The project is consistent with the approved Specific Plan Car Country, as discussed in the staff report. 3) The site is physically suitable for the project since the site is adequate in size and shape to accomodate the proj and still meet all city regulations without any significa environmental impacts. 4) The project is consistent with all city public facility policies and ordinances since all necessary public improv ments have been provided or will be required as conditio of approval. 5) The project is compatible with existing and proposed developments in Car Country, as discussed in the staff report. 6) This project is exempt from environmental review per Sect 19.040.070(.f) (5). 11 Conditions /I 12 file in the Planning Department. All lighting fixtures shall be of metallic vapor and quartz variety and shielded from direct glare onto adjoining properties and roadways.
