HomeMy WebLinkAbout1981-02-25; Planning Commission; Resolution 1777*- '3 . - f 0 a 1 2 3 4 5 6 PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 1777 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A PREANNEXATIONAL ZONE CHANGE FROM COUNTY OF SAN DIEGO E-I-A TO CITY OF CARLSBAD P-M-Q (PLANNED INDUSTRIAL) ON PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF PALOMAR AIR- PORT ROAD EAST OF LAUREL TREE ROAD. APPLICANT : UKEGAWA CASE NO: ZC-215 7 11 WHEREAS, a verified application for certain property, to 8 9 10 11 wit: That portion of land shown and designated as Description No. 3, of Map No. 5715, in the County of San Diego, filed December 19, 1960, being a portion of Lot "GI' of Agua Hedionda, in the County of San Diego according to Map 823, filed November 16, 1896. 12 13 has been filed with the city of Carlsbad, and referred to the by Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code; and 15 WHEREAS, said application constitutes a request as provic 14 Planning Commission; and 16 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did on the 25th day of 17' by law to consider said request; and 18 February, 1981, hold a duly noticed public hearing as prescril 19 ,! That the P-M-Q Zone is consistent with the PI (Planned Industrial) land use designation of the General Plan. 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 15 16 ~ 17 14 I 2. That uses allowed in the P-M-Q Zone are more compatible and consistant than the M Zone with surrounding land uses and zones. 3. That the development standards of the P-M-Q Zoning will ensure compatibility with surrounding uses especially planned residential uses. 4. That the project will not cause any significant environ- mental effects and the environmental impacts of the proje were previously discussed in prior environmental document 5. That the Q Overlay will ensure that development of the property is properly planned and designed to be compatibl with surrounding land uses.
