A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, DENYING A
VARIANCE TO ALLOW PARKING IN THE FRONT YARD
SETBACK GENERALLY LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE
OF LA COSTA AVENUE BETWEEN GIBRALTAR AND
ROMERIA STREETS.
APPLICANT: IZBICKI CASE NO.: V-302
WHEREAS, a verified application for certain property, to

Lot 40 of La Costa South Unit No. 5, in the city of
Carlsbad, county of San Diego, state of California,
according to Map No. 6600 filed March 10, 1970
has been filed with the city of Carlsbad, and referred to the
Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a request
provided by Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did, on the 11th day of
March, 1981, hold a duly noticed public hearing as prescribed
law of consider said request; and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and conside
!all testimony and arguments, if any, of all persons desiring t l8 I 19,ibe heard, said Commission considered all factors relating to

21 il NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Planning

23 A) That the above recitations are true and correct.

B) That based on the evidence presented at the public hearin
the Commission DENIES V-302 based on the following
findings:
FINDINGS:
1. That there are no exceptional or extraordinary circumstan
applicable to the property that do not apply generally to
other property in the same vicinity and zone for the reas1
stated in the staff report.
