PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 1784
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ALLOW THE SALE AND CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ON PROPERTY
GENERALLY LOCATED ON THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF
EL CAMINO REAL AND PALOMAR AIRPORT ROAD.
APPLICANT: VALLAS
CASE NO: CUP-186
WHEREAS, a verified application has been filed with the
city of Carlsbad and referred to the Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a request
as provided by Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Cod
the Planning Commission did, on the 11th day of March, 1981,

WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and consid

all testimony and arguments, if any, of all persons desiring
heard, said Commission considered all factors relating to CUP 19
~ NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Planning

the Commission APPROVES CUP-186, based on the following
development of the community, is essentially in harmony 26 with the various elements and objectives of the general
27 plan, and is not detrimental to existing uses or to uses specifically permitted in the zone in which the proposed
28 use is to be located for the reasons stated in the staff
report.

A) That the foregoing recitations are true and correct.
B) That based on the evidence presented at the public heari

the Alcoholic Beverage Board prior to commencement of th:
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad, California, held
the 25th day of March, 1981, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Chairman Marcus, Commissioners Jose, Friestedt, La
Rombotis, L'Heureux, and Leeds.
