I/ PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 1806 2 3 4 5 6 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY 0 CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO A SIT SALES FACILITY ON PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED IN THE W BLUFF PLAZA PARKING LOT NEAR THE CORNER OF DOVE LANE , EL CAMINO REAL. APPLICANT: FOTOMAT CORPORATION CASE NO: SDP 77-1 (D) DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR A DRIVE-THRU FILM PROCESSING AND 7 WHEREAS, a verified application has been filed with t 8 of Carlsbad, and referred to the Planning Commission; and 9 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission approved Site Develo] 11 WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a requt 10 provided by Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code; and 12 modification to approved Site Development Plan 77-1, on proper1 15 the Planning Commission did, on the 27th day of May, 1981, con: 14 WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal ( 13 Plan SDP 77-1 with Resolution No. 1374, dated June 22, 1977; a1 16 described as: ll 17 18 19 20 All that portion of the West Half of the Northeast Qui of Section 26, Township 12 South, Range 4 West, San Bernardino Meridian, in the County of San Diego, Statt California. WHEREAS, at said hearing, upon hearing and considerin< 21 22 23 24 25 testimony and arguments, if any, of all persons desiring to be heard, said Commission considered all factors relating to Site Development Plan No. 77-1(D). NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the city of Carlsbad as follows: A) That the foregoing recitations are true and correct. B) 26 27 28 That based on the evidence presented at the hearing, t Commission APPROVES SDP 77-1( D) , based on the followir; findings and subject to the following conditions: //// II t e e 1 IIFindings : 2 3 4 5 1) The proposed development is consistent with the city’s Ger Plan and the overall intent of the previously approved Sit Development Plan which has established the subject commerc center. 2) The project is compatible with both existing and proposed development in the immediate area. 6 7 3) The project is consistent with all applicable city public facility policies and ordinances since: a. No additional sewer will be required by the project. b. Adequate public improvements have been provided as rec, a 9 by the original Site Development Plan. 10 11 12 13 14 15 c. The applicant has agreed and is required by the inclus of an appropriate condition to pay a public facilities Performance of that contract and payment of the fee wi enable this body to find that public facilities will b available concurrent with need as required by the Gene Plan. 4) Based on an initial study of the project, including a fie11 investigation of the site, the Planning Director has deter] that the proposed development will not result in any significant environmental impacts, and therefore, has issu Negative Declaration on May 14, 1981 which was approved by Planning Commission on May 27, 1981.
