PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 1831
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, FINDING THAT THE
ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY
FOR PROPOSED PARK PURPOSES IS CONSISTENT WITH
THE GENERAL PLAN
CASE-NO.PCD/GPC-11 APPLICANT: City-of Carlsbad
WHEREAS, California Municipal Code 65402 and Carlsbad
Municipal Code 2.24.065 require that the Planning Commission
report on the conformity of the location, purpose and extent o
the acquisition of real property with the city's adopted Gener
Plan; and
WHEREAS, the city proposes to acquire the property descri
herein for a proposed park and appurtenant structures all of
which are public uses; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has been presented with
staff report concerning the project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission
the City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the foregoing recitations are true and correct.
2. That based on the evidence presented in the staff rep
and during the July 8, 1981 meeting of this Commission, the
Planning Commission finds the location, purpose, and extent of
the acquisition of the real property generally described in
Exbibit A is in conformity with the city's adopted General Pla
