PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 1927
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING DENIAL OF A
STREET NAME CHANGE FROM HOSP WAY TO AVENIDA ESPANA,
GENERALLY LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF EL CAMINO REAL SOUTH OF MARRON ROAD. APPLICANT: T.L. SHELDON CORPORATION

WHEREAS, in a letter dated September 29, 1981, Char11
Christensen, representing the T.L. Sheldon Corporation, reque
that the street currently known as Hosp Way be renamed Avenid
Espana; and
10 I( WHEREAS, pursuant to City Council Policy NO. 20, the

13 request; and
14 WHEREAS, at said public hearing a staff report was s
15 mitted and all persons desiring to speak on the subject reque;
16 heard. At the conclusion of said hearing, after consideratio
17 all evidence presented, the Planning Commission found the fol
ning Commission did, on the 10th day of March, 1982, hold a d
noticed public hearing as prescribed by law to consider said

19 1) Hosp Way is of historical significance to the community o
facts and reasons to exist:
Carlsbad.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the Planning
