A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY (
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A ZONI
CODE AMENDMENT, AMENDING TITLE 21, SECTION 21.44.1301
(USES GENERALLY) OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE, TO
MODIFY THE PARKING REQUIREMENTS FOR BANKS, BUSINESS
AND PROFESSIONAL OFFICES,

1. That the proposed amendment implements the Planning Commis sion's direction to staff to bring the city's parking requirements for banks, business and professional offices into conformance with the amount of parking generated by
these uses.
2. That approval of this amendment will ensure that banks,
businesses and professional offices will provide adequate site parking for employees and customers,

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 21, SECTION
21.44.130(2) USES GENERALLY
The City Council of the city of Carlsbad, California,

5 That Title 21, Chapter 21.44.130(2) of the Carlsbad '

Municipal Code is amended to read as follows:

(2) Use - Banks, business and professional offices
Parking Spaces Required - one space for each two
hundred fifty square feet of gross floor area.
