A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING APPROVAL
OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE LA COSTA MASTER PLAN TO
REVISE THE LAND USE PLAN OF LA COSTA NORTHWEST AND
TO MAKE MINOR ADMINISTRATIVE CHANGES TO THE MASTER
PLAN TEXT AND MAPS ON PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED
EAST OF EL CAMINO REAL AND NORTH OF ALGA ROAD.

7 WHEREAS, a verified application for certain property,

Parcel 3 of Parcel Map No. 1188, County of San Diego

has been filed with the city of Carlsbad, and referred to the
Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a requ
provided by Title 21 of the Carlsbad Nunicipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did, on the 12th day
May, 1982, hold a duly noticed public hearing as prescribed by

WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and

desiring to be heard, said Commission considered all factors
relating to the Master Plan; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Planninf
Commission as follows:
A) That the foregoing recitations are true and correct.
B) That based on the evidence presented at the public hearins Commission recommends APPROVAL of MP-I49(G), based on the
following findings and subject to the following condition:

1) The findings of Planning Commission Resolution No. 1719 (1
149(E)) are incorporated herein by reference.
28 2) The proposed revisions of the land use map of La Costa No] are consistent with the Land Use Element of the General P:
amended by the Planning Commission on May 12, 1982.

4) The administrative changes, as contained in Attachment E
staff report, are minor in nature and are made necessary
city actions that have taken place since the last amendme

The Planning Director has determined that this project he
considered under previous environmental review and, there has issued a Notice of Prior Environmental Compliance on
31, 1982. Further, the Planning Director has determined
the additional 100 units allowed by this amendment will n create any significant environmental impacts and that the previous Environmental Impact Report for this project adequately covered said additional units.
