A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A ZONE CODE AMENDMENT, AMENDING TITLE 21 OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE BY THE AMENDMENT OF SECTIONS 21.41.030(6) AND 21.41.070(3)(B) TO MODIFY REQUIRE-
MENTS REGARDING FREEWAY SERVICE FACILITIES.
APPLICANT: CITY OF CARLSBAD CASE NO: ZCA-143
6 II WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did, on the 14th dal

to consider said request; and
II WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and

considering all testimony and arguments, if any, of all persor
desiring to be heard, said Commission considered all factors

l5 A) That the above recitations are true and correct.
I' B) That based on the evidence presented at the public hearir
17 the Commission recommends APPROVAL of ZCA-143, according
Exhibit "A", dated July 14, 1982, attached hereto and mac
18 part hereof, based on the following findings:

20 1) That the proposed amendment will allow freeway service

relating to the Zone Code Amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Planninc
Commission as follows:
facilities to be adequately identified from the freeway.
2) That approval of this amendment will ensure that freeway service facilities will receive equitable treatment regal sign height regulations.
3) That the project will not cause any significant environmt impacts and a Negative Declaration has been issued by tht
Planning Director on July 3, 1982 and approved by the Pli Commission on July 14, 1982.
