PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2030
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING THE
REPEAL OF A MASTER PLAN ON PROPERTY GENERALLY
LOCATED IN THE VICINITY OF INTERSTATE 5 AND
POINSETTIA AVENUE. APPLICANT: CITY OF CARLSBAD CASE NO: MP-l33(A)
WHEREAS, a verified application for certain proper
wit: Northeast corner of 1-5 and Poinsettia Lane, east of Paseo del Norte, the southeast corner of 1-5 an
Poinsettia Lane, the southwest corner of 1-5 and P
Lane, west of Carlsbad Boulevard, and the northwes
of 1-5 and Poinsettia Lane, west of Carlsbad
Boulevard
has been filed with the City of Carlsbad, and referred to t
Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did, on the 27th
October, 1982, and on the 10th day of November, 1982, hold
noticed public hearing as prescribed by lawp to consider sa
request; and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and
considering all testimony and arguments, if any, of all per
desiring to be heard, said Commission.considered all factor
relating to the Master Plan; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Plann
Commission as follows:
A) That the foregoing recitations are true and correct.
B) That based on the evidence presented at the public hear Commission recommends the REPEAL of MP-133, based on th
following findings:

1) The original master plan was approved in 1970 prior to adoption of the city's current Land Use Element of the Plan. As such, the master plan is out of date and inco
