A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING
APPROVAL OF AMENDMENTS TO THE LAND USE PLAN AND TEXT OF THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN
TO CONFORM WITH THE ADOPTED AGUA HEDIONDA LAND
USE PLAN. APPLICANT: CITY OF CARLSBAD
CASE NO: GPA-68 (A) 1
7 WHEREAS, a verified application for an amendment t(
Land Use Plan and Land Use Element of the General Plan, to 1
plan into conformance with the adopted Agua Hedionda Land U:
has been filed with the Planning Commission; and

WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes reqr
amendment as provided in Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal
and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did, on the 26th (
January, 1983, hold a duly noticed public hearing as prescr:
law to consider said request; and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing, and
considering all testimony and arguments, if any, of all per;
esiring to be heard, said Commission considered all factor;
elating to the General Plan Amendment.

21 il NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Comi
22 IP f the City of Carlsbad as follows:
23 A) That the above recitations are true and correct.

26 Findings:
27 1 ) That GPA-68(A) will bring the Land Use Plan and Land Us
28 Element into conformance with the adopted Agua Hedionda Use Plan.
B) That in view of the findings made and considering the a
law, the decision of the Planning Commission is to reco APPROVAL of GPA-68(A), as described on Exhibit "A" and
"X", dated January 26, 1983.

1 2) That the environmental effects of this amendment have bc evaluated in conjunction with a larger project and prevj certified documents and, therefore, a Notice of Prior Cc 2 was issued January 4, 1983.
