PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2099 ~~ ~
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING
APPROVAL OF A ZONE CODE AMENDMENT, AMENDING
TITLE 21 OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE BY THE
AMENDMENT OF SECTION 21.37.120(b) TO REVISE THE
CONVERSION SECTION OF THE RESIDENTIAL MOBILE
HOME PARK ZONE. APPLICANT: CITY OF CARLSBAD CASE NO.: ZCA-163
WHEREAS, the Planning Commisson did, on the 23rd 1
March, 1983, hold a duly noticed public hearing as prescrib
law to consider said request; and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and
considering all testimony and arguments, if any, of all per
desiring to be heard, said Commission considered all factor
relating to the Zone Code Amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Plann
Commission as follows:
A) That the above recitations are true and correct.
B) That based on the evidence presented at the public hear Commission recommends APPROVAL of ZCA-163, according to "A", dated March 23, 1983, attached hereto and made a p hereof, based on the following findings:
Findings:
1) The proposed amendment adequately addresses the special teristics of mobile home development.
2) The project will not cause any significant environmenta impacts and a Negative Declaration was approved by the Commission on March 23, 1983.
3) That the proposed amendment is necessary to ensure that
converted mobile home parks meet the same standards of
as required for new mobile home subdivisions.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 21, CHAPTER
21.37 OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL CODE BY THE AMENDMENT OF SECTION 21.37.120(b) TO REVISE THE CONVERSION SECTION OF THE RMHP ZONE.
The City Council of the City of Carlsbad, Californ
ordain as Lallows:
That Title 21, Chapter 21.37 of the Carlsbad Munic
Code be amended by the amendment of Section 21.37,120(b) as
described below:
Existing Text:
(b) No conversion shall be allowed unless a permit therefc been approved by the City Council according to the prc
established in Chapter 21.47 of this code.
To Be Amended as Follows:
(b) No conversion shall be allowed unless a mobile home pe
been approved by the City Council pursuant to Chapter
EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be effective thi
after its adoption, and the City Clerk shall certify to thc
adopt'ion of this ordinance and cause it to be published at
once in the Carlsbad Journal within fifteen days after its
adopt ion.
