PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2105
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING
APPROVAL OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE LAND USE ELEMENT
OF THE GENERAL PLAN FROM EXTENSIVE REGIONAL
RETAIL (RRE) TO TRAVEL SERVICE (TS) ON PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF
INTERSTATE 5 AND PALOMAR AIRPORT ROAD. APPLICANT: MARIE CALLENDERS CASE NO.: GPA-67(E)

WHEREAS, a verified application for an amendment to
herein, have been filed with the Planning Commission; and 9
Exhibit "A" , dated March 25, 1983, attached and incorporated 8
10 WHEREAS, said verified applications constitute a re
I1 for amendment as provided in Title 21 of the Carlsbad Munici

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did, on the 13th d

2o ll NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Plann: "11 Commission of the City of Carlsbad, as follows:
22 11 A) That the above recitations are true and correct.

B) That in view of the findings made and considering the a]
able law, the decision of the Planning Commission is to recommend approval of GPA-67(E), as shown on Exhibit "A March 25, 1983.

27 /I 1. The property is physically suitable for Travel Service because it is highly visible and easily accessible from
28 Interstate 5 and-Palomar Airport Road.

2. The uses allowed in the proposed, Travel Service, land u!
1 designation are compatible with the future surrounding 1; uses for the reasons stated in the staff report.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of
Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad, California, held
the 13th day of April, 1983, by the following vote, to wit:
