A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORT!JIA, DENYING A ZONE CHANGE FROM
R-1-7500 (ONE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) TO R-3 (MULTIPLE-F
RESIDENTIAL) ON PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE 0
TAMARACK BETWEEN HIEISCUS CIRCLE AND THE ATbSF RAILR
APPLICANT: TRUITT

WHEREAS, a verified application for certain property
7 wit:
All that portion of Tract 232 of Thum Lands accordin
8 Map No. 1681 filed December 9, 1915
g has been filed with the City of Carlsbad, and referred to the
10 Planning Commission; and
11 WHEREAS, said application constitutes a request as -g

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did on the 12th day 13
by Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code; and
relating to the Zone Change; and 19
desiring to be heard, said Commission considered all factors 18
considering all testimony and arguments, if any, of all persc 17
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and 16

Commission as follows:
Commission recommends DENYING ZC-285, based on the folloh
24 findings.
25 Findings:
26 1) The R-3 zoning designation is not consistent with the Ger
Plan Land Use designation of Residential Low-Medium.
27 2) The R-3 zoning designation would adversely impact the int
28 of the surrounding vicinity for reasons stated in the st;
report.
