A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING DENIAL OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN FROM RESIDENTIAL LOW-MEDIUM, 0-4 DU/A
TO RESIDENTIAL HIGH DENSITY 20-30 DU/AC ON PROPERT

Findings:
1) The proposed general plan amendment to residential high is an inappropriate use for the site because it is surrc by residential low-medium density development.
2) The proposed general plan amendment could adversely impz surrounding properties by increasing density in a single
neighborhood.
