A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CIT'
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING ADOPTION OF "TH
CAMINO REAL CORRIDOR DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS" DATED
FEBRUARY 8, 1984.
APPLICANT: CITY OF CARLSBAD
- WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did on the 28th d,
March, 1984 and on the 9th day of May, 1984, hold a duly noi
public hearing as prescribed by law to consider adoption of
Camino Real Corridor Standards", dated February 8, 1984, in
conformance with the requirement of Section 21.40.045 of the
Carlsbad Municipal Code; and

16 Commission as follows:
17 A) That the foregoing recitations are true and correct.
18 B) That based on the evidence presented at the public heari
19 Commission recommends ADOPTION of "The El Camino Real Co Development Standards" Study, dated February 8, 1984 bas 20 the following findings:
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and
considering all testimony and arguments, if any, of all per:
desiring to be heard, said Commission considered all factors
relating to the adoption of said study; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Planni

which are appropriate for the El Camino Real Corridor, bc 25 they will serve to guide development in a manner that is consistent with City goals and objectives. 26 3) That adoption of this document is consistent with the Lax 27 and Scenic Highways Elements of the General Plan and the

consistent with the intent and purpose of the scenic
Carlsbad Municipal Code.

4) This project will not cause any significant environment impacts and a Negative Declaration has been issued
by the Land Use Planning Manager on November 1, 1983 an approved by the Planning Commission on March 28, 1984.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting
Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad, California, he
the 9th day of May, 1984, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES : Chairman Rombotis, Commissioners Rawlins Schlehuber, Marcus, Farrow and Smith.
NOES: None .
ABSENT : None.
