A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A 20'
AMENDMENT, AMENDING TITLE 21 CHAPTER 45 SECTION 090
(3) TO SECTION 21.45.090(d) TO ALLOW CREDIT FOR GUE PARKING ON LOCAL PUBLIC STREETS SERVING SINGLE FAMI
RESIDENCES, AND THE MODIFICATION OF SECTION 21.47.1 ALLOW ADMINISTRATIVE APPROVAL OF MINOR NON-RESIDENT PLANNED DEVELOPMENTS ON PROPERTY LARGER THAN ONE AC
APPLICANT: CITY OF CARLSBAD

CHAPTER 47 SECTION 110(a), BY THE ADDITION OF SUBSE
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did, on the 13th d
June, 1984, hold a duly noticed public hearing as prescribed
to consider said request; and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and
considering all testimony and arguments, if any, of all pers
desiring to be heard, said Commission considered all factors
relating to the Zone Code Amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Planni
Commission as follows:
A) That the above recitations are true and correct.
B) That based on the evidence presented at the public hear
the Commission recommends APPROVAL of ZCA-173, accordin
Exhibit "A", dated May 10, 1984, attached hereto and mz part hereof, based on the following findings:
Findings:
1) That the proposed amendment will not adversely impact t intent or purposed of the Planned Development Ordinance Non-Residential Planned Development Ordinance.
2) That the proposed amendment will provide greater flexik
in the design of residential planned developments yet E
provide for adequate visitor parking.
3) That the proposed amendment will allow the Land Use Plz
Manager to approve minor non-residential planned develc regardless of the amount of land involved.

That the proposed amendment to the Non-Residential Pla~ Development Ordinance would bring it into conformance 1 residential Planned Development Ordinance which permit: administrative approval of projects involving four or
units regardless of the number of units involved.
