HomeMy WebLinkAbout1984-07-11; Planning Commission; Resolution 23066- \ e II) 1 2 PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2306 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY AMENDMENT TO THE CIRCULATION ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL ROADWAYS LOCATED THROUGHOUT THE CITY, CASE NO.: GPA/C 84-1 3 7 6 APPLICANT: CITY OF CARLSBAD 5 TO REVISE ALIGNMENTS AND CLASSIFICATIONS OF CERTAIN 4 CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF AN WHEREAS, a verified application for an amendment to General Plan designation for property located city wide, as on Exhibit "A", dated June 25, 1984, attached and incorporat herein, have been filed with the Planning Commission; and a 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 applicable law, the decision of the Planning Commission recommend APPROVAL of GPA/C 84-1, as shown on Exhibit If; 26 dated June 25, 1984. 27 Findings: 28 1) The proposed General Plan Amendment will help decrease WHEREAS, said verified applications constitute a re for amendment as provided in Title 21 of the Carlsbad Munici Code; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did, on the 25th d June, 1984 and on the 1 lth day of July, 1984, hold a duly nc continued public hearing as prescribed by law to consider sa request: WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and considering all testimony and arguments, if any, of all persl desiring to be heard, said Commission considered all factors relating to the General Plan Amendment. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Planni Commission of the City of Carlsbad, as follows: A) That the above recitations are true and correct. B) That in view of the findings made and considering the congestion and increase public safety in various areas I City. I b’t a 6 1 II A 2) The proposed General Plan Amendment will improve the 2 comprehensive circulation system to serve the future nec Carlsbad and the north San Diego County area. 3 3) The proposed General Plan Amendment will improve the 4 operational efficiency of roadways throughout the City. 5 4) The proposed General Plan Amendment will not cause any significant environmental impacts and a Negative Declarz 6 has been issued by the Land Use Planning Manager on Play 1984 and approved by the Planning Commission on July 11 7 1984. a PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting ol 9 Planning Commission of the City of Carlsbad, California, hell- 10 11th day of July, 1984, by the following vote, to wit: ll 11 12 13 14 15 AYES: Chairman Rombotis, Commissioners Marcus, Schlehuber, Farrow and Rawlins .
