HomeMy WebLinkAbout1984-11-28; Planning Commission; Resolution 2361a I -- ll e 0 c c 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2361 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF SP-191 FOR A RESIDENTIAL SPECIFIC PLAN FOR THE SUNNY CREEK AREA BOUNDED BY THE RIDGELINE SOUTH OF CANNON ROAD TO THE NORTH, FUTURE COLLEGE AVENUE TO THE WEST, THE SUNNY CREEK BIOLOGICAL HABITAT TO THE SOUTH AND THE DAWSON ECOLOGICAL PRESERVE TO THE EAST. APPLICANT: CITY OF CARLSBAD CASE.NO: . SP-191 a WHEREAS, a verified application has been filed with 9 City of Carlsbad and referred to the Planning Commission: anc 10 WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a re1 11 as provided by Title 21 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code: and 12 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did on the 26th da: 13 request; and 15 duly noticed public hearing as prescribed by law to consider 14 September, 1984, October 24, 1984 and on November 28, 1984, ' l6 li WHEREAS, at said public hearing, upon hearing and 17 (relating to the Specific Plan: and 19 desiring to be heard, said Commission considered all factors 18 considering all testimony and arguments, if any, of all perst 20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Planni: 21 A) That the above recitations are true and correct. 22 Commission as follows: 1) The City Council has indicated its desire to retain the 26 Findings 25 following findings and subject to the following conditio] 24 B) That based on the evidence presented at the public heari; 23 rural/estate atmosphere in the Sunny Creek area and has 27 directed that a specific plan be prepared to accomplish 28 //// purpose.
