I1 PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2437 2 3 4 5 6 A RE=SOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A SITE DEVELOPMENT PLAN NO. 85-2, TO CONSTRUCT AN 8 2,000 §QUARE FOOT AND A 6300 SQUARE FOOT BUILDING ON PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED ON THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF FARADAY AVENUE AND EL CAMINO REAL. Performance of that contract and payment of the fec enable this body to find that public facilities wil: available concurrent with need as required by the ge plan. 8 2) The proposed project is consistent with the Carlsbad Zor 9 Ordinance and the Carlsbad Research Center Specific PlaI 10 3) The proposed project is compatible with the surrounding land uses since surrounding properties are designated fc 11 planned industrial development on the general plan. 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 4) El Camino Real is designated a prime arterial and requi~ minimum intersection spacing of 2600 feet. Faraday Avel designated a secondary arterial and requires a minimum intersection spacing of 600 feet. Due to the estimated traffic generation on this project of 1900 vehicles per based upon vehicular traffic generation rates for the Se Diego region, San Diego Association of Governments, Staf recommends to restrict access to one driveway location ( Faraday Avenue. ~ ~ S) This project will not cause any significant environment; impacts and a Negative Declaration has been issued by tl- Use Planning Manager on April 19, 1985 and approved by t Planning Commission on May 8, 1985. Conditions: 1 ) Approval is granted for SDP 84-10, as shown on Exhibits "I,", dated March 20, 1985, incorporated by reference ant file in the Land Use Planning Office.
