PLAENING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 2441
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING
CERTIFICATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT,
EIR 84-1, FOR A PROJECT GENERALLY INCLUDING:
1) GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT FROM RLM, RESIDENTIAL
LOW MEDIUM TO U, PUBLIC UTILITIES, AND 2) ZONE
CHANGE FROM COUNTY S-90 TO CARLSBAD R-1 10,000
CASE NO: EIR 84-1
APPLICANT: COAST WASTE MANAGEMENT

WHEREAS, on the 22nd day of May, 1985, and on the 26
of June, 1985, the Planning Cornmission of the City of Carlsba’
held public hearing on EIR 84-1 pursuant to the provisions of
19 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has considered the
comments and documents of all those persons testifying at the
public hearing; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received EIR 84-
according to the requirements of Title 19 of the Carlsbad Nun:
Code;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Cornmi:
of the City of Carlsbad as follows:
1. That the foregoing recitations are true and correct.
2. That the Environmental Impact Report EIR 84-1 will be amei to include the comments and documents of those testifying
the public hearing and responses thereto hereby found to
good faith and reason by incorporating a copy of the minu,
said public hearings into the report.
3. That the Planning Commission finds and determines that thc
Environmental Impact Report EIR 84-1 has been completed ir
conformance with the California Environmental Quality Act,
state guidelines implementing said Act, and the provision:
Title 19 of the Carlsbad Municipal Code and that the Planx Commission has reviewed, considered and evaluated the inf( tion contained in the report.

4. That the Environmental Impact Report EIR 84-1 as so amend
evaluated, is recommended for acceptance and certificatio
the final Environmental Impact Report and that the final
